Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) is pleased to announce that Hüttinger GmbH & Co have been appointed the fabrication contract for the installation of the exhibits for the BodyWorks exhibition.

Following the advertisement of the tender on the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), the BodyWorks team has spent the last few weeks evaluating tender submissions from all over the world. The contract will be officially signed on 25 April.

"Hüttinger GmbH have vast experience of delivering interactive visitor experiences throughout the world and we are sure that a collaborative approach, utilising all the skills and knowledge within GSC, will result in an exhibition packed full of challenging and eye-opening exhibits."

Matthias Rudloff, Hüttinger GmbH & Co project manager, said: "Hüttinger Exhibition Engineering are very excited to be involved in the fabrication and installation of the BodyWorks exhibition. We did the installation of the first floor for the opening back in 2001, which at the time was the company’s first big project. Hüttinger are delighted to be working with GSC again on such an exciting and innovative project.

"We are all looking forward to bringing this great exhibition and our ideas to life within the next year."

GSC will open a new £2 million BodyWorks exhibition in 2013, a unique and inspiring programme exploring the science underpinning health and wellbeing in the 21st century. This immersive exhibition will fill the spacious 700 square metre third floor of GSC. BodyWorks is an exciting opportunity to showcase cutting edge research and innovation in the health and wellbeing sector, as well as giving a platform for organisations involved in innovation to engage directly with our 350,000 annual visitors.
