Food Outlets Cook Up A Storm At New-look Bon Accord

Aberdeen shoppers are in for a treat as the Bon Accord & St Nicholas centre unveils its £8 million facelift in time for the busy Christmas period.

The city’s favourite shopping destination is now brighter and better than ever and features Aberdeen’s newest and most stylish eating place.

Di Maggio’s, Pret a Manger and Café Rouge are all open for business and have already been a big hit with Bon Accord & St Nicholas shoppers.

Mario Gizzi, owner of popular restaurant chain Di Maggio’s, said: “Business has been booming since opening earlier this month and we’ve already exceeded targets. There’s a real buzz in the place with shoppers packing out the restaurant.”

Stylish new floors and walls, improved lighting and new look entrances complete the fresh and modern refurbishment of the centre.

Providing quality meals for visitors to the centre, the new eating venue offer shoppers a vibrant dining environment and extensive choice whether they are eating on the go or sitting down for a leisurely meal.

Acquisitions Manager for Café Rouge, Jonathan Havenhand, said: “We are thrilled to be offering a taste of France to Aberdeen customers. Bon Accord is the perfect fit for our brand and centre visitors have been flocking to the restaurant.”

The trio of fabulous new restaurants are all firsts for Aberdeen and add to the already extensive range of choice at Aberdeen’s top shopping destination. The new eating place follows hot on the heels of the launch of H&M this summer as well as the opening of Ollie & Nic and Chisholm Hunter.

Craig Stevenson, Centre Manager for Bon Accord & St Nicholas, said: “Bon Accord & St Nicholas is looking fabulous, and we’ve had customers complimenting us on our bright and stylish look and feel. Our new restaurant area on the upper mall is the final stage of our £8 million refurbishment, and we’re delighted that Pret a Manger, Café Rouge and Di Maggio’s are now open. They’ve all been extremely popular with shoppers, and the centre has a great buzz. And having eaten there myself, I can thoroughly recommend all three.”
