Anderston's Connolly Artwork Nears Completion

Artwork commissioned by one of Scotland's leading housing associations is nearing completion.

Acclaimed artist Andy Scott was commissioned by Sanctuary Scotland to mold a mural of popular comic, Billy Connolly.

The 20ft x 16ft creation, dubbed 'Big Yin', is nearing completion and will be hung from a wall at the housing association's Anderston development in Glasgow.

The steel mural is due to be erected by the end of and honours the comedian who was

born in Anderston and remains its most famous son.
