HBJ Gateley Wareing To Host Employment Law Seminars

Leading national law firm, HBJ Gateley Wareing, in conjunction with ASA Recruitment, will be holding two seminars to update employers on the latest developments in employment legislation, as well as those changes on the horizon.

In the seminars Jacqueline McCluskey, Kim Pattullo and Robert King, employment partners at HBJ Gateley Wareing will guide attendees through the latest developments in employment law and prepare them to deal with new procedures and obligations that will arise under them.

With 2011 a busy year for employers when it comes to employment legislation, the seminar is a must for those seeking to understand issues such as: Developments in case law over the past 6 months, including the areas of unfair dismissal, redundancy, TUPE and discrimination/Equality Act 2010; the removal of the default retirement age of 65 and a look forward to other legislative changes in 2011 including the Agency Workers Regulations and additional paternity leave

”These seminars will provide the opportunity to do exactly that, giving employers information on the latest and impending developments, and importantly the procedures and obligations arising under them.”

The Edinburgh seminar will be held on Wednesday 23rd March at HJB Gateley Wareing’s offices at Exchange Tower, 19 Canning Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EH. Registration is from 9.00 am with the seminar commencing at 9.30am and the event will finish at approximately 1pm.
