A refreshing redesign at Sizzlers Steakhouse & Ocean Grill has added an extra fizzle to Merchant Square in the heart of the Merchant City, Glasgow’s cultural, fashion and food quarter.
Glasgow’s original steakhouse for steaks served the way they should be – big and juicy, prime-cut, char-grilled and served on a sizzling platter – Sizzlers has laid down a whole new floor and spruced up the joint to make it even more appealing to its many customers.
General Manager Billy Stott said: “People flock to Sizzlers for our steak and pepper sauce – and we take great pride in our food offering. All our steaks, sauces, salads and fish dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen and now our new floor and facelift give us that extra fizzle as we gear up for the festive season.”
Sizzlers has separate dining areas consisting of a main indoor restaurant area and an upstairs balcony area with views across the main restaurant and out towards the courtyard. The balcony has a private bar and caters for up to 30 guests. Sizzlers also have a private area available for up to 40 guests whilst all areas of the restaurant are available for private parties and corporate functions, and can arrange live entertainment or karaoke to give your event more excitement.
Located on Candleriggs, Merchant Square offers an eclectic selection of restaurants and cafes. Once part of the old Glasgow Fruit Market, Merchant Square is imbued with the history of the area’s dominating Victorian architecture, although today this sense of history blends seamlessly with the distinctly cosmopolitan ambiance that pervades the surrounding cobbled streets that bring the outside in.
