Offshore Worker Injured By Electric Shock

A man has been airlifted to hospital after receiving an electric shock while working on an offshore platform.

The oil-worker and a colleague who witnessed the incident were flow to Lerwick Hospital from the Dunlin platform at around 5pm on Thursday.

Power to the rig was cut off for a short time following the incident.
