A Property Services Group has started work on a £350,000 project to upgrade East Lothian houses.
The East Lothian Council has awarded a contract to Apollo's Glasgow operation in Thomson Crescent and North Seton Park at Port Seton following a competitive tender process.
The properties, built in the 1940s, are being improved to meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.
The upgrade works include the installation of Structherm external insulation and cladding system, replacement of existing roof coverings and new rainwater goods.
Eamonn McGarvey, Scotland Regional Director, said: "East Lothian Council is an important new client for Apollo and the works that we are carrying out to the non-traditional 'Cruden Rural' properties are very much in line with Apollo's specialist expertise."
