Young people and local elected members came together earlier this week to celebrate the official opening of the refurbished Savoy Centre in Methil.
An investment of £735,000 allowed extensive refurbishment work to be carried out on the centre including improvements to the sports hall, a range of new sports equipment and a modernised cafe area.
Chair of the Levenmouth Area Committee, David Alexander said: "One of Fife Council's Big 8 priorities is to improve sport, leisure and cultural opportunities. This is a great example of how we are doing just that. The facility has been hugely improved and provides an up to date community facility for the people of Levenmouth."
At the event on Monday night, guests had the opportunity to see the Centre and young people were on hand to try out the computers, games consoles and take part in some sporting activities. 20 young people were also presented with youth achievement awards by John Ovenstone of East Fife Football Team.
