A vision for the future of one of Scotland's best known tourist spots, John O'Groats, is to be unveiled to the community on Wednesday.
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) commissioned the creation of a masterplan which would reflect the views of local residents, businesses, visitors and local public agencies and would create a blueprint for investment in a tourist attraction fit for the 21st century.
"Following a wide consultation we are very excited to unveil the proposals to the community," said Carol Gunn of HIE.
"The masterplan will outline a sustainable long term model for public agencies and private investors to work with, but will be flexible enough to allow the plans to evolve depending on changing needs."
The options for the site have been created by planning consultants GVA Grimley and will be presented at a public meeting on Wednesday 9 September at 12.30pm at the Seaview Hotel, in John O'Groats.
