Works have commenced on Hillhead Housing Association's second new build development containing 26 houses and flats.
The development includes the demolition of 36 tenement flats and the development of a disused gap site at Woodstock/Lammermoor Road.
This includes a mixture of large family homes and smaller, two apartment flats.
There will also be two wheelchair bungalows, which have been designed specifically for two existing tenants.
Works commenced at the start of March and are due to last 11 months.
The main contractor is McTaggart Construction Limited.
Hillhead Housing Association have said they look forward to their first project working with the construction firm.
The total development costs are just over £3.3m with the project being funded by the Scottish Government, the Housing Association and a contribution from Scottish Water in relation to new drainage infrastructure.
