Modernisation Work Open Day For Torry tenants

Aberdeen Council tenants in the Torry area will get the chance to preview new security doors, kitchen and shower units to be fitted in their homes as part of a modernisation programme.

An open day is being held on Thursday, 05 March, when the new doors, kitchen and shower units will be on display. Sample boards showing the full range of flooring and aqua panels (shower wall coverings) available will also be on show.

Council staff and representatives of the contractor Sidey Ltd, will be available throughout the day to speak with tenants and address any questions or concerns they may have about the forthcoming modernisation work on their homes.

The open day is being held at the Tullos Community Centre, Girdleness Road, from 10am until 8pm.

The modernisation work is due to begin Easter 2009.
