All-Energy, the UK's largest renewable energy exhibition and conference, has been presented with the Renewable Energy Award in the Northern Star Business Awards, run by Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
The award is made to the company that 'has been most successful in developing and securing new business by market penetration or order value'.
Paul Stott, Managing Director of Media Generation Events, which organises All-Energy in partnership with Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, said: "We are delighted to have won this award. It is a real feather in the cap of an exhibition and conference to be considered so much an integral part of the industry it serves that it can win a market sector award.
"All-Energy was one of three finalists in the Renewable Energy Award category sponsored by Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) - this is the fifth time the prize has been awarded.
"We would like to thank the Chamber of Commerce and the judges for their decision, and look forward to remaining an integral part of the international renewable energy industry and playing a key role in Aberdeen's calendar of events for many years to come. Earlier this summer All-Energy was a runner-up in the Advocate Category in the British Renewable Energy Awards, so it was marvellous to finally be a winner."
