Staff from James Frew Ltd, Scotland's largest independent building services company, recently put their best foot forward to raise vital funds for Wateraid, the international charity which provides access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to some of the world's poorest people.

This year James Frew decided to adopt the charity for all of its fundraising activities and, as one of many of the planned events, staff climbed Goat Fell in Arran. Overlooking Brodick Bay, Goat Fell spans 875 metres and is one of Scotland's highest mountains.

Thanks to sponsorship from friends and supporters, which was matched by James Frew, over £3,500 was raised.

Sandy Clare, a Director with James Frew who was one of the team said: "It was a terrific day and the weather conditions were ideal. We're really pleased to have raised so much money."
