Warburtons Rises To Eurocentral

The UK's largest independent baking business, Warburtons, has started operations at its new distribution depot at Eurocentral business park in Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The new £2m, 20,000 sq ft purpose built distribution facility, is the latest industrial development to be built by Morgan Ashurst for the park’s developers, Muse Developments, at the Eurocentral site.

Steve Turner, Director of Muse Developments Ltd and Eurocentral Partnership commented: "We are extremely proud of this design and build project which has seen the creation of a bespoke distribution hub which meets Warburtons' exact requirements and business needs.

"Letting a bespoke unit to a company of Warburtons' calibre is significant news for the park and reinforces Eurocentral's attractiveness to major UK distributors looking for a central location and high quality surroundings."

Warburtons, which bakes 1.7 million loaves a week in Scotland, has taken a 20 year lease on the distribution facility on Brittain Way, Eurocentral.
