The retailers set to occupy anchor stores at The Elements, Livingston, have taken possession of their stores, Land Securities announced today.
Debenhams and Marks & Spencer are now in the process of fitting-out their 90,000 sq ft stores in advance of the £130m shopping centre's October opening.
The 375,000 sq ft shopping centre will also include 30 shop units, two major space users, five restaurants and 24,000 sq ft of leisure space.
David Smith, Leasing Director, said: "We are delighted to have handed over the units to our two main tenants at The Elements.
"This marks another key milestone for the shopping centre which is set to increase the total retail space in the town on 1.6million sq ft."
