The Scottish Housing Regulator has appointed three Non-Executive Board members.
They are Lucia Webster, a senior manager with the Association of British Credit Unions; Mairi Keddie, an independent management consultant; and Alex Condie MBE, a tenant and board member of a housing association.
Together they bring an excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks and experience of working with a range of public bodies, local authorities and housing associations. They also bring business, investment and lending expertise; as well as a strong consumer and tenant interest.
Karen Watt, Chief Executive of the Scottish Housing Regulator, said: "I am delighted to welcome our three new Non-Executive Board members. The range and depth of their expertise will help to ensure the agency is effectively governed and that we remain focussed on our primary purpose of protecting the interests of tenants and other consumer groups."
