Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association has launched its new Tenants' Handbook.
The Handbook has been written and designed in consultation, not only with staff throughout Hanover, but also with tenants.
Members of Hanover's Tenants' Focus Groups discussed the format and contents of the Handbook last year before the re-write took place. Discussing the Handbook with tenant representatives at an early stage meant the whole Handbook could be designed and written taking their views into account.
The Handbook contains a wealth of information on topics such as repairs and maintenance, safety and security and tenant participation. It also offers general information about living on a sheltered or very sheltered housing development, the services available and useful contacts.
Gregor Booth, Director of Housing and Care Services said: "We have taken our time developing our new Tenants' Handbook which has allowed us to ensure that the content is informative and the design is eye-catching and user friendly.
"The involvement of tenants in the development of the Handbook has ensured tenants will receive a document that is useful and relevant to their needs."
The handbook will be distributed to tenants from April and can be accessed on Hanover's website at: www.hsha.org.uk
