Clark Contracts has been re-appointed to the Scottish Procurement Alliance's (SPA) £1bn Public Building and Infrastructure Framework (PB4).
The framework allows local authorities, social landlords/housing associations and other public sector organisations across Scotland to procure contractors for the construction and refurbishment of education, healthcare, emergency services and community facilities.
It also includes residential elements within mixed-use schemes, student accommodation, conversions of commercial properties to residential use, and related infrastructure works.
The contractor has secured places on six lots across eight regions, covering refurbishment and new-build projects valued at up to £25m.
In addition, the business continues to hold positions on SPA's Refurbishment and Modernisation, New Build Housing and Fire Safety frameworks.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director at Clark Contracts, said: "We are delighted to have secured a place on this major framework. In recent years, we have been appointed to 14 projects through SPA frameworks, demonstrating the strength of our relationships with SPA and our track record of supporting public sector organisations across Scotland. This appointment gives us an opportunity to build on this experience, strengthen existing relationships and work with new public sector customers."
Lesley Peaty, Regional Director of the Scottish Procurement Alliance, said: "Public sector organisations need procurement routes that can support the full life of an estate, from creating new buildings to maintaining the fabric and technical systems that keep essential services running.
"PB4 gives our partners access to a flexible solution covering new construction, major refurbishment, infrastructure and hard facilities management within one compliant framework.
"By bringing these services together, organisations can procure work more efficiently, respond to changing needs and focus public investment on creating and maintaining safe, sustainable buildings for the people who rely on them every day."
This latest appointment adds to Clark Contracts' wider portfolio of framework agreements with Fusion21, Prosper, Scotland Excel, Procurement for Housing Scotland, Argyll and Bute Council, the City of Edinburgh Council, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Government Commercial Agency, Mitie, NHS National Services Scotland, the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde, Wheatley Group, Glasgow City Council, SSE, Pagabo and Renfrewshire Council.
