LUC has been awarded Gold in the Public Realm / Landscape category at the Scottish Design Awards 2026, held on 24 June in Glasgow, for its Ferguslie Community Activity Space project.
The award recognises the transformation of underused land in Ferguslie Park, Paisley, into a vibrant, community-focused space designed to support play, activity and social interaction. The project reflects a wider commitment to delivering landscapes that generate long-term social value and strengthen local communities.
Developed in close collaboration with local partners and residents, the scheme prioritises accessibility, biodiversity and climate resilience. It also provides flexible spaces intended to adapt to changing community needs over time.
