ABAX to Demonstrate Total Site Visibility at ScotPlant 2026

Construction News Image

Following a successful launch at the Executive Hire Show in February, ABAX has announced it will be demonstrating its innovative ABAX Site Operations solution at ScotPlant 2026.

The exhibition, Scotland's largest construction equipment trade show, takes place on April 24-25, 2026, at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.

ABAX Site Operations provides a complete, real-time overview of all assets across indoor, outdoor, and hybrid sites. The solution is designed to give businesses a live digital map of asset movements, removing the complexity and high costs typically associated with traditional RTLS systems.

Pål Kamfjord, Product Director at ABAX, said: "The reception at our launch was fantastic, and we're excited to bring live demonstrations of ABAX Site Operations to ScotPlant. It's a great opportunity to show the Scottish plant and hire industry how we deliver practical, scalable, and easy-to-deploy site-wide visibility—not complexity for complexity's sake."

The ABAX Site Operations solution combines several powerful connectivity options to provide total visibility:

• For smaller, portable tools and assets, the ABAX Locator is a small and discreet battery-powered Bluetooth tag that ensures even the smallest items are always accounted for on site.

• For equipment and trailers, ABAX Worksite simplifies the daily management of an entire machine fleet. Using wired or wireless devices, it tracks positions, operating hours, and utilisation rates. This allows businesses to avoid costly downtime with automatic service reminders based on actual usage and protect assets with alerts if they are moved without authorisation. Detailed reports provide the insights needed for profitable, data-driven decisions.

• For connected equipment and tools, ABAX Smart Connect offers a hardware-free option with zero installation downtime. By simply adding manufacturer credentials or a serial number, data from connected equipment is instantly integrated into the ABAX platform. This feature is compatible with major manufacturers, allowing all assets—regardless of brand—to be viewed on a single map with the full suite of ABAX features.

Visitors at ScotPlant will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the full solution in action and get a closer look at its application within hire and site-based operations.
