BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential carriageway improvements on this section of the trunk road.
Works will run between 7pm and 6am and are scheduled to finish by the morning of Tuesday 3 March. No operations will take place on Friday or Saturday nights.
To safeguard road workers, reduced speed limits and temporary traffic signals will be installed on the approaches to the site, with vehicles escorted through the work area at 10mph by a convoy vehicle.
Traffic management will be lifted outside working hours; however, a 30mph daytime speed limit will remain as traffic will be running on a temporary surface without road markings.
Access for emergency services through the site will be maintained at all times.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland's North Planned Maintenance Manager said: "These works will help restore the condition of the road surface at this section of the A9, improving driving conditions.
"Our teams are committed to completing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements."
