Persimmon Homes North Scotland has announced plans to regenerate the site of the defunct Ballumbie Golf Course in Dundee, following its acquisition of the land previously held by the Stewart Milne Group.

The development, which already benefits from existing planning permission, will see the construction of 148 high-quality, sustainable new homes. The project is designed to cater to a broad range of buyers, offering a diverse mix of two- and three-bedroom semi-detached houses alongside larger four- and five-bedroom detached properties.

This investment builds upon Persimmon's current activity in the city, where it is already delivering new housing at the Stewarts Loan development on Kingsway. The new Ballumbie community will focus on energy efficiency, with modern designs intended to reduce household running costs and support Dundee's long-term housing requirements.
