The CITB National Construction College (NCC) is supporting Scottish Careers Week 2025, an annual initiative designed to spotlight career pathways and support services across Scotland. Organised by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), the week runs from 10 to 14 November under the theme "Shape the Future," focusing on helping people realise their career potential in various industries.
Based at its Inchinnan college, the NCC is working with Scottish employers, learners, and apprentices to promote both new entry points and professional development within construction.
The college offers a wide selection of Workforce Development courses for upskilling, including: SSP; CISRS; CDM; Testing and Inspection; and SVQ work based assessment
Additionally, the NCC offers SVQ Apprenticeships in key trades, such as: Scaffolding; General Construction Occupations; Road Building & Maintenance; Ceiling Fixing; Dry Lining – Finishing (Ames Taping) and Fixing; Floor laying; Built Up Felt Roofing; Cladding Occupations; Plant Maintenance.
