Clark Contracts Appointed for New Mercedes-Benz Dealership

Clark Contracts has been appointed as the main contractor for Ciceley Commercials Ltd's brand-new Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus dealership at Eurocentral, Scotland.

The new facility, situated on a 3.9-acre plot, represents a significant investment in the Scottish commercial vehicle network and is expected to create around 40 new jobs for local people. Clark Contracts, based in Scotland, was selected for its local expertise, strong reputation, and shared focus on sustainability and staff development, mirroring Ciceley's own "grow your own" approach to developing talent.

Michael Scanlan, director at Clark Contracts, commented: "We're delighted to have been appointed to deliver this project for Ciceley Commercials and look forward to collaborating with our new client and the wider design team as work gets underway on site."

Construction work on the new site is due to begin shortly. To ensure continuous support for local operators, a temporary workshop is expected to open in mid-2026 to provide essential servicing and maintenance during the construction phase of the main building. The full dealership is scheduled to open in autumn 2026.

The completed dealership will include:

• 12 work bays

• An Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) lane

• Full service, parts, and sales facilities for Mercedes-Benz trucks

• Dedicated service and parts facilities for Mercedes-Benz buses

Andy Heys, Dealer Principal at Ciceley Commercials Ltd, said the company was "thrilled to be expanding our support network into Scotland." He added that the facility has been designed to "truly reflect the needs of Scottish truck operators".

Leonhard Niemann, Head of Dealer Network Development at Daimler Truck UK, welcomed the investment, calling it a key milestone in strengthening the brand's support network and noting that Ciceley's reputation makes them the "ideal partner to support our customers in Scotland."
