Ogilvie Construction has received three nominations at this year's Trades Awards for its work on the recently completed Camphill School project in Aberdeen.

The company has been shortlisted for Sustainability in Construction, Construction Project of the Year, and Site Manager of the Year, which recognises the leadership of Kevin Campbell.

Working with Collective Architecture, Ogilvie Construction delivered a new 11-bedroom home designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment for seven young people with learning disabilities and complex needs, as well as four staff members. The two-storey building is arranged in a way that creates two courtyard spaces: one for group activities and a smaller, quieter garden area. The design seamlessly integrates with the rural campus, which is located on former farmland west of Aberdeen.

The Trades Awards, which celebrate the construction industry in Northeast Scotland, will announce the winners at a ceremony on Thursday, 7 November, at the Ardoe House Hotel.
