Two trade apprentices have completed their training while working with Clark Contracts.
The two apprentice joiners each completed a 4-year apprenticeship, gaining practical experience on site with experienced tradespeople and attending West College Scotland to achieve their SVQ in Carpentry and Joinery.
With their apprenticeship now complete, the individuals have taken up roles as qualified joiners within the company. They will have future opportunities to progress their careers through further training supported by Clark Contracts.
The contractor currently employs 23 trade apprentices through its award-winning academy and over 20% of its staff are studying towards formal qualifications. Following annual careers evenings in Paisley and Edinburgh, Clark Contracts has already taken on 11 new trainees and apprentices this year.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director at Clark Contracts, said: "We continue to be proud of the progress and career development of our employees through our award winning academy and congratulate our apprentices on receiving their SVQ in Carpentry and Joinery to become qualified joiners with the company."
