The inaugural cohort of ORE Catapult's Launch Academy Scotland, comprising ten innovative Scottish companies, has successfully graduated from the seven-month programme.

The initiative, designed to support the commercialisation of offshore wind innovations, saw participants benefit from expert guidance across various modules including intellectual property, financing, and law.

The support provided was specifically tailored to ensure that all graduating companies from this first Launch Academy Scotland cohort enhanced the skillsets, tools, structures, and knowledge deemed necessary for success within the offshore renewable energy industry.


Inch Cape played a pivotal role as a founding partner in the programme, which also received support from Scottish Enterprise and other prominent developers, Bluefloat Nadara and Ocean Winds.

The ten companies, selected from a competitive field of more than 40 applicants, included: Subworx; Smarter Subsea (Handling); Revive Geosciences; Kraken Robotics; Innovair; Frontier Robotics; FENNEX; Fathom Group; AJT Engineering, and Airspection.

These graduates will now become part of the broader ORE Catapult alumni network, continuing to benefit from ongoing contacts, networking opportunities, and support as they advance their respective innovations in the offshore wind sector.
