Four Arc-Tech Projects Shortlisted For Scottish Design Awards

Four projects supported by Arc-Tech (Scotland) have been named as finalists in the prestigious Scottish Design Awards 2025.

The awards, now in their 27th year, celebrate excellence in the design, creative, and architectural sectors across Scotland. The winners are set to be announced at a ceremony on 25 June.

The shortlisted projects span several categories, showcasing Arc-Tech's involvement in diverse developments:

• Regeneration and Masterplanning: Two projects have been recognised for their innovative approach to town centre placemaking. These include the 306-home Chestnut Street development in Granton for Harbour Homes and the 92-home, low-carbon Water Row project in Glasgow for Govan Housing Association

• Affordable Housing: Platform 3, Scotland’s largest Passivhaus-accredited residential development, has been shortlisted. This project, located in north Glasgow, comprises 90 homes for West of Scotland Housing Association

• Residential (Multi-Unit): Maltings Wynd, the second phase of the mixed-use Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan, has been nominated. This development features 78 homes for sale, led by igloo Regeneration

All four developments were constructed by CCG (Scotland) and benefited from Arc-Tech’s in-house Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) service capabilities, which included the installation of solar PV panels and fire suppression systems.
