Clark Contracts has been recognised for its long-standing commitment to health and safety, receiving a fifth consecutive Order of Distinction in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)'s Health and Safety Awards 2025.

The prestigious Order of Distinction is awarded to organisations that have achieved 15 or more consecutive Gold Medal Awards from RoSPA. Clark Contracts has now demonstrated 19 years of continued excellence in occupational health and safety management systems, a rigorous approach to occupational health, consistently high performance, and adherence to robust control measures, highlighting its unwavering dedication to employee safety in the workplace.

Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director of Clark Contracts, expressed his pride in the achievement: "We are honoured to receive our 19th RoSPA Award and fifth consecutive Order of Distinction. This recognition from one of the UK's most prestigious health and safety bodies is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our employees. We remain dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in occupational health and safety across all aspects of our operations."

Julia Small, RoSPA's Growth Director, commended Clark Contracts: "Clark Contracts should be proud of the hard work and commitment to keeping people safe that has resulted in a RoSPA Award, which honours those organisations who have achieved the highest standards in health and safety in the workplace. RoSPA regards Clark Contracts as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole."

Dee Arp, NEBOSH Chief Quality Officer and the Head Judge of the RoSPA Awards, emphasised the importance of recognising excellence in health and safety for fostering a culture of care and continuous improvement.

Sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), the RoSPA Awards are the UK's longest-running scheme of their kind, attracting entries from organisations worldwide and making them highly sought-after within the health and safety industry. While the majority of awards recognise achievement at merit, bronze, silver, and gold levels, the Order of Distinction, along with Gold Medals, President's Awards, and the Patron's Award, are reserved for organisations that consistently maintain the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.
