An incredible 10 Taylor Wimpey site managers from its developments across Scotland are celebrating, having each won a prestigious national housebuilding award – the NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards.

Now in its 44th year, the Pride in the Job Quality Awards have become the benchmark for exceptional site managers and are awarded following a rigorous judging process. Thousands of inspections have taken place to determine this year's 449 winners from a field of more than 8,000 sites, and Taylor Wimpey's 10 winners in Scotland puts them in the top 5% of UK site managers.

Taylor Wimpey East Scotland's Pride in the Job Quality Award 2024 winners are Gavin Bianchi (Sinclair Gardens, Roslin); Mitchell Davies (Spencer Fields, Inverkeithing) and James Canning (Hawthorn Gardens, South Queensferry).

Each of these award-winning site managers will progress to the Scottish regional awards final later this year to determine who is the best of the best in Scotland.

Each site manager is assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. Thousands of site inspections, meticulous scoring, and verifications have taken place to decide the winning site managers. Each of these Quality Award winners will now go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners unveiled in January 2025. \.
