Section Of Linkwood Road Closed For Gas Main Replacement

A section of a road in Elgin is to remain closed for gas main replacement.

Linkwood Road was shut due to SGN dealing with a gas escape.

SGN is now replacing the gas mains and hopes to replace the gas main, restore the road surface and then reopen the road as normal on the week beginning 16 October.

Traffic will continue to be prohibited from travelling east from the roundabout towards the junction with Ashgrove Road.

The diversion for eastbound traffic is New Elgin Road to Main Street to Thornhill Road to Linkwood Road.
