Edinburgh-based Trades Training School (TTS) has marked 15 years of training more than 3,000 students and helping to launch over 1,000 businesses.

TTS has achieved their goal of becoming Scotland's first independent training centre offering nationally-recognised trades qualifications to adult learners, filling a gap in the market.

They currently offer courses ranging in duration from 1 week to 6 months incorporating SQA Professional Development Awards, City & Guilds Diplomas as well as NVQ/SVQ vocational qualifications. The School is also planning new, more advanced, courses for experienced tradespeople as well as bespoke training for established trades businesses.


TTS said that they believe that one of the key elements of their success is the business training and technical support they offer (both during and after the course), ensuring every student is given the best chance to move on to a career in their chosen sector, or to start their own business.
