Whiteburn Named SME House Builder Of The Year

Whiteburn Projects Ltd has been awarded SME House Builder of the Year 2022 by Homes for Scotland.

Welcoming the award, Managing Director, Eve McCurrich said: "Winning this year's Homes for Scotland SME House Builder of the Year 2022 is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the Whiteburn Projects team.

"We have not only built an award-winning development at Caerlee Mill, we have also created an award-winning team of dedicated staff, subcontractors, suppliers and we are very proud to have been recognised as going the extra mile by the judges who are our peers in the industry."

Whiteburn's next development will see the delivery of 87 private and affordable new homes at the former Viewforth School site, Loughborough Road, Kirkcaldy, where construction works are well underway, and the first new homes have already been sold. It is a member of the Considerate Constructor Scheme and is fully committed to a programme of engagement with local communities and key stakeholders throughout the lifetime of its developments.

Whiteburn Group has secured investment from Housing Growth Partnership with an injection of £1.5million from its newly created £300m property fund for SME developers. It is also the first investment by HGP that will contribute to the delivery of Whiteburn's new homes at Viewforth in Fife.
