Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) has announced the appointment of Iain McDowall as their new Product Support Manager for Scotland.

Iain McDowall joins HCMUK after a decade spent within the plant hire sector holding similar managerial roles at other high-profile companies.

Iain is highly experienced in customer service, heavy plant machinery, the operational and planning logistics of field service engineers and has worked in Scotland throughout his career, which compliments his new position at HCMUK.

Commenting on his new role, Iain said: "I am absolutely delighted to be joining Hitachi. I regard them as a market leader in construction machinery who are renowned for providing top-quality, reliable machines.

"I do believe that this is the perfect time to be joining Hitachi due to the potential for growth within the Scotland area."
