Locals in the Highland council area have been invited to an event to raise awareness on flooding issues.
The flood awareness event will cover local infrastructure, planning, flood protection and insurance, the process for applying for a flood scheme and further information on related matters.
The Highland Council will host the drop-in event at Dingwall Academy on Monday 16 September.
This event follows on from the successfully attended drop-in session which the Council hosted back in August. Highland Council Chief Executive Donna Manson initiated an action plan to respond to local residents, following flooding in Dingwall earlier this year.
Donna Manson said: "I would like to encourage interested residents to come along to the drop in event next week, these discussions inform future planning and decision making and the information people from the local community were able to provide at our last meeting was extremely helpful to the flood team."
