Five weeks of roads maintenance and improvements are due to begin in Angus on Monday 07 May.

Generally, work will be carried out between 8am and 6pm. It is also weather dependent and can be delayed by cold, damp weather or hot, humid conditions.

Notices will be put in place locally to advise residents before work gets underway and traffic control measures will be in place while work is carried out. Please do not leave your car parked on the road or footways when and where work is due to start.

Vehicle and pedestrian access to properties should be maintained while work is carried out. People have been asked to expect some delays and to travel at a reduced speed through any areas where work is ongoing and observe speed restrictions at all times.

The surface dressing programme covers 41.5km of the county's roads.
