Arc-Tech (Scotland) Ltd has maintained its commitment to trade apprenticeships for a third year with the announcement of 2 new entrants in 2019.
The company began trading in 2016 and since then, 11 trade apprentices have been employed as part of a recruitment drive that has seen their direct staff numbers increase from just 5 to over 110 helping sustain the delivery of a wide variety of major contracts from their base in Glasgow.
Covering all aspects of Building Services, Including Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, the apprentices are provided with an industry-recognised programme sustained over a 4-year period and will learn their craft on major construction projects that are being undertaken for clients such as ISG and Robertson, amongst others.
The apprentices are set to join the company this August.
John Gallacher, Managing Director of Arc-Tech said: "The growth of Arc-Tech since 2016 has been miraculous. We have gone from being a start-up to a leader for quality in our sector with the delivery of major contracts across Scotland. From primary schools and distilleries to renewables and pre-fabrication, we can provide any level of service to any client.
"The success of our business is there to be seen but we know that skills replenishment is crucial for our long-term growth strategy and that is why we have decided to continue our intake of apprenticeships in 2019.
"We are extremely proud of the work performed by all of our staff and I am sure they will welcome our new recruits with open arms as they embark on an exciting new journey."
