Contractors have been invited to bid for the £18 million Helensburgh Waterfront project.
The Helensburgh Waterfront Development will see a new leisure centre and swimming pool built to replace the town's existing facility. The waterfront flood defences will also be improved as part of the scheme.
Councillor Gary Mulvaney, Policy Lead for Strategic Finance and Capital Regeneration Programme, said: "With planning permission having been granted, the work can start to find the right company to carry out the work that will deliver a fantastic new facility for Helensburgh. The publishing of the Contract Notice marks another big step forward for the project and we can start to look forward to seeing work getting started at the site later this year."
The deadline for submissions is 11 March, with suitable firms then being invited to tender for the work.
The Helensburgh Waterfront Development Contract Notice can be viewed on the PCS website at www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk.
