A faulty water valve has been repaired in Milngavie, serving several thousand properties in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire.
Scottish Water engineers completed the work after properties in parts of the north west and south of the city and the Bearsden and Milngavie areas experienced a loss of normal water supply, low water pressure or discoloured water.
The problems were reported at around 7am yesterday morning, 25 September, after an issue with a valve in Milngavie.
Engineers worked quickly and resolved the valve issue by about 9am. Normal supplies were restored to affected properties soon afterwards.
Scottish Water has apologised for any inconvenience to affected customers and thanks them for their patience and understanding.
