akp has been named as the Principal Contractor for the second phase of refurbishment works at Cairn Lodge Services.

The refurbishment will include the renewal of windows and doors, redecoration throughout and a brand new main kitchen and seating area.

Located just off the A74 (M) between J11 and J12, the services are owned by Westmorland which runs Tebay on the M6, Rheged and Gloucester on the M5.

akp is working with Unum Architect's, Allan & Hanel and Will Rudd Davidson to deliver the project.

Works are due to commence in mid-September and will be complete by late November.
