M&E contractor Arc-Tech has secured work on a residential care home project in West Dunbartonshire.
Working alongside the main contractor, Arc-Tech will deliver Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services for the Kingsacre Luxury Suites in Duntocher, marking the company's third project within the care sector.
The facility will contain 69 luxury suites, four dining rooms, a visitor's café, hair and beauty salon and a private cinema. A roof terrace, private gardens and a putting green will also be available to residents. The centre is being delivered for Morrison Community Care Group.
Arc-Tech will be on site in August and completion is scheduled for spring 2019.
Paul Sokhi, Managing Director of Morrison Community Care, said: "Our 29 years' experience in the industry has shown us that people want to have fun in their old age and we want to encourage this through design and environment.
"By encouraging people out of the often-lonely surroundings of their own homes into an environment where there is a vibrant community we hope to give residents and their families an extra lease of life. We understand that people age at different rates and at different times, and as such we have a responsive, highly trained care and clinical team on site that will allow Kingsacre to be a home for life in every sense of the word.
"We are delighted to have Arc-Tech back on board for our one-stop-shop M&E solution after they completed our 45 luxury suite development in Milngavie late last year."
John Gallacher, Managing Director of Arc-Tech, added: "Construction in the care sector is ever-increasing in demand as Scotland's economy continues to see the effects of an ageing population. Certainly, at Arc-Tech, we see this as a key growth sector for our business and we will continue to work with valued clients such as Morrison Community Care to provide quality, M&E solutions."
