Up to 100 new 'affordable' homes are being built in Blackburn, West Lothian.
The Redhouse site will consist of a mix of cottage flats, houses and wheelchair accessible bungalows once finished this summer.
In recent months a technical issue with a utilities supplier has delayed progress on the site, however these have now been resolved and a total of 53 houses in the development are nearing completion.
Cllr George Paul said: "Affordable housing continues to be in short supply across the country, these council homes will provide local people with excellent quality new homes.
"This development is part of a wider project to deliver 1,000 new council homes across West Lothian."
