Work is to begin on a water mains infrastructure upgrade project in the Shettleston Road area of Glasgow.
The two-week improvement scheme will get underway on Monday, 15 January. Traffic management will be in place along with the closure of one lane eastbound on Shettleston Road between Westmuir Street and Old Shettleston Road.
Ruaridh MacGregor, Scottish Water Corporate Affairs Regional Manager, said: "This work is necessary to improve our customers' security of water supply and reduce the risk of burst pipes on our network.
"Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience and thanks any affected residents and road users in advance for their patience and understanding."
