Hub South East Scotland has picked up two accolades at the inaugural Education Buildings Scotland Awards in Edinburgh.

The development organisation scooped the Consultancy of the Year award and, in partnership with West Lothian Council, it was also recognised in the Inspiring Learning Spaces category for its work on the £32 million West Calder High School project.

Speaking on Hub South West's success, Chief Executive Paul McGirk said: "We are delighted with this double win at the Education Buildings Scotland Awards.

West Lothian Council's Executive councillor for education, David Dodds, said: "I'm delighted that the new £32 million West Calder High School project has been recognised at the Education Buildings Scotland awards.

"West Lothian currently has one of the best school estates in the country, and this major investment will ensure we continue to provide our young people with the best possible environment for learning."
