Residents in Argyll and Bute are being invited to apply for grants to help insulate their homes.
The council has secured a £1,669,978 fund from the Scottish Government's Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland: Area Based Scheme (HEEPS: ABS).
The funding will help residents make energy efficiency improvements to their properties such as external/internal wall insulation, underfloor insulation, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation. The programme is available to owner occupiers and private rented householders living in council tax bands A to C, and band D if your income is less than £20,000.
Cllr Robin Currie said: "This is a great opportunity for people to make their home warmer whilst saving on energy costs. I would urge residents to make the most of this funding and sign up while they can."
