Plans have been approved to expand St Peter's School in Aberdeen.
The primary school is being altered to alleviate capacity pressures. Proposals include building alterations to free up additional space, converting and utilising the vacant janitor's lodge and converting an additional room at nearby Old Aberdeen House into a classroom.
Gayle Gorman, Director of Education and Children's Services, said: "Committee instructed officers to come up with a set of solutions for capacity issues at St Peter's School, while we look at longer term solutions.
"The improvements we are looking to make in the short-term will improve the learning and teaching environment for staff and pupils alike."
