CCG Continues Work On Luxury Care-Home Development

Work is continuing on a luxury care-home development in East Dunbartonshire.

CCG is delivering the Abbotsford House Luxury Suites for Morrison Community Care Group near to the Craigton Road in Milngavie.

Features include 45 modern private suites, four restaurants, private gardens and a cinema.

CCG has been working at the site since January this year, with work to install the building's superstructure getting underway in April. Using its OSM's enhanced closed panel timber system, the building will be fully wind and water tight before the end of May.

CCG Director, Calum Murray, said: "The progress made at Abbotsford House Luxury Suites is truly outstanding – our site team has done an excellent job in bringing the development together in such a quick period of time.

"The advantages of 'Off-Site' construction are there to be seen with excellent quality and energy efficiency standards. In addition, by being able to build faster, we have minimised disruption and the impact on the local community."

The project is on schedule to be completed by autumn.
