A public consultation is to be held on plans to upgrade a carriageway in South Lanarkshire.
The £23 million dual carriageway scheme involves improving Greenhills Road and Strathaven Road in East Kilbride.
Proposals include upgrades from High Common Road to the Torrance Roundabout on the A726 Strathaven Road and on Greenhills Road from Torrance Roundabout to Auldhouse Road.
The scheme would improve accessibility to both new and existing industrial, business and residential land and provide infrastructure for direct access to employment areas in the southern part of East Kilbride. In addition, it aims to enhance the cycling and walking infrastructure in the area, as well as providing links to existing routes.
Details of the project, which will be funded by the Glasgow City Region City Deal, will go on display from 10.30am – 2.30pm and again from 4pm – 8pm in the Gallery Rooms at Calderglen Country Park on Wednesday, 22 February.
