Stannah To Deliver Rothesay Pier Lift Improvements

Stannah Lift Service has been appointed to carry out upgrade works at Rothesay Pier in Argyll and Bute.

The maintenance contractor will start carrying out improvements to lifts at the Pier on Monday, 13 February.

The three-day scheme involves installing new internal ram seals, as well as replacement electrical junction boxes.

In a statement, the council said: "During the period of the works the passenger access gangway may have to close occasionally, with ferry access being maintained via the linkspan."
