HRH Princess Royal To Open New £11.5m Primary School

A new £11.5 million primary school is to be officially opened by Princess Anne, it has been announced.

HRH The Princess Royal will unveil the new Midmill School in Kintore on Wednesday, 01 March.

Provost of Aberdeenshire Hamish Vernal said staff and pupils moved into their new modern school in November.

"We're very much looking forward to welcoming HRH The Princess Royal to Aberdeenshire again at the start of March," he said.

"Midmill School is a wonderful new, modern building and staff and pupils were thrilled to move into it in November.

"Aberdeenshire is very proud of its links with the Royal Family and Her Royal Highness's visit to officially open the school will be a very special occasion we're all looking forward to."
